yay for pot racks
When Nate and I lived in our little apartment in Tualatin, we had very little cabinet space, so we mounted a pot rack on one of the walls. Once we moved into our house, the pot rack ended up on the floor under a counter, waiting for Nate to paint the kitchen. A few weeks ago, we were overwhelmed by small projects around the house and so Nate decided that if we got everything done, he would mount the pot rack...We worked toward that prize:) Kinda lame, but it got me moving! So now it's up and I'm so excited! I hung our white board while we were at it, so the corner is very complete now. I'm pretty excited, can you tell? It doesn't take much...

Yes, I was hoping you would notice:) That's my favorite aspect of the corner! I really like how it fits so well right in that space. I didn't want to put the picture on the wall going up the staircase; they'd be too far away then. This way I'm reminded of them much more often:]
